I understand your questioning, but, it was lost to me when they placed Trotter as 5th in a junior league as the ACC. He probably would have been placed better in the mighty SEC. Who are the other 4 they are saying is better? Just another hack job pointed at Clemson, and how is it that Clemson never has any of the best players in the ACC, but we do most of the winning in the ACC!!!
We're all the time complaining about our coaching staff, but if we believe any of what's said about players, we must have outstanding coaching!!!

That’s a hilarious statement that it would have been flat out ugly with Shipley. Arguably, Phil Madagascar is a better back than Shipley strictly based on the numbers, yards per carry. So if Mafah had as many carry’s then he would have had more yards than Shipley

If and ors and buts, Mafah, the fire hydrant, is a workhorse, undoubtedly. But Ship is the heart and soul of the last 2 years offense. If it wasn't for him, I believe we would have been .500. I say that because, can you imagine how truly awful Big Stinko would have been had Shipley kept the defense somewhat honest and gave DJ enough time to complete some passes. Without #1, Clemson would have led the nation in sacks allowed. Furthermore, did you see how many blitzing line backers, pouring into the backfield, Ship picked up?
