Hey, fist thing. How about not putting your buddies on the payroll and go out and hire some real coaches.

Amazing to see Dabo jump on Venebles “defense” like he did Saturday night on TV. Jumping up and down and visibly frustrated at the defense. Where’s that same enthusiasm to jump on the awful offense and there “suspect” leader #5! Our offensive line has declined each year over the past 5 years under Caldwell. The offensive linemen are knocked off the ball every play and get zero push. We rarely put any offensive linemen in the League. The defenses we are playing have figured out our quarterback isn’t accurate enough to make the throws so the play man coverage and stack the box. With such a weak offensive line already we stand no chance against 8 defenders in the box and trying to establish a running game or have any type of sustainable pass blocking.
If “Best is the Standard” why is #5 allowed to continue to play. He’s far from elite talent as we’ve all been promised by this coaching staff. He’s 3rd string at best at another power 5 program. This is more than frustrating to see players being paid, and a coach not stepping up and making the tough decision to prove a point to his players, fans, program, and the rest of the football nation and say he’s not worried what contract a player has signed and sit him. At this point #5 has earned a spot on the bench. It’s time for a change and I think the fan base could stomach loses better seeing their coach make the right decision vs continuing down this rabbit hole.
“Bid you all good evening”

I totally agree with your comment! We should have been gave Taisun a chance to run the offense! He is faster and been in this offense longer than DJ and more accurate and you can do more with him because he is more athletic! I don’t understand why Dabo doesn’t see this! Play calling is limited with DJ !

This is how spoiled we have been at QB

DJ is fine. You heard RG3 call out the actual problem over and over again. Our offense is elementary and uncreative. No QB on the roster Is going to fix this. TE could get away with having TL and DW check out of his crap play calls at the line. He can’t do that with DJ and it’s exposing him.

Time to see if Dabo can make the changes required by a top paid NCAA coach. Loyalty needs to be put aside when you are an ‘elite’ program.

Players that have transferred are flourishing elsewhere. Chase Brice has over 1,000 yards passing and 5 TD’s for run dominant App State. Melluci is running wild at Wisconsin. Not sure Clemson is adept at evaluating talent.

That’s as down as I’ve seen Dabo in a decade!
Not sure what to say. He’s hurting... team is hurting. We’re inept at some positions, injured in others.

They have a very difficult job ahead. 6 straight years of playing for championships and really out of in in September. Some possible tough decisions to make as well on offense.

If by "offense' you mean the coaches, those are EASY decisions.

The offense became simplistic when Scott left. The offensive line has never been great. There has been a sharp decline over the last five years. Is isnt talent unless all the recruiting services got it so wrong on every player! The last time we were this predictable was with Napier calling plays. DJ has the tools. Obviously the messy divorce of his parents this summer has affected him. His footwork, follow through, and progressions aren’t the same as last year. Elliott doesn’t make adjustments. He relies on the homerun too much. We haven’t ran any drag routes, quick slants, or screens to offset pressure. No tight end usage to mention. We are close to dead last in every offensive category. The o line can’t block air, they can’t pickup stunts and twist. DJ holds the ball too long. States down receivers. Too much to even list. I’m okay with a rebuilding year. But, tear something down! Shake up some personnel. All that said, Go Tigers! See you at homecoming. I’ll be the tailgate downing loads of bourbon to ease the pain of the game to come.
