David Eziomume is a 3-star prospect according to 247Sports. They have him as the 32nd best RB in his class and the 45th best player in Georgia.
While not rated as an elite RB, he seems to be a cut above the guys we've recruited the last couple of years.
He also seems like a good guy who will be a great fit here. Congrats to all!

We were 4th in the country 3 seasons ago, and did a helluva job finishing in the top 14 for two straight years.. with a crippling QB issue.
We have all we need to return to the playoffs, if we can get better at QB. I mean heck, we were a missed FG away from making the playoffs, even with the struggles at the most important position on the field.
The demise of Clemson football has been grossly exaggerated, even by some Clemson fans.

You're wrong. It seems like many of y'all just use shifting goal posts. Not me. We always said the reason our classes weren't top 3 was because we didn't need 25 recruits per class (obviously, the size of the class plays a huge role in rankings). We didn't lose transfers and people stayed longer than expected. So because we didn't need 20+ players per class, it was more relevant how good our average recruit was. I still believe that.
You're right, our recruiting total rankings have dropped off slightly since the playoff era, but not significantly. But our per recruit ranking has dropped off more:
2014: #17
2015: #11
2016: #7
2017: #4
2018: #3
2019: #16
2020: #3
2021: #3
2022: #16
2023: #12
2019 is an outlier, but outside of that, you can clearly see a trend up as we became better and there's the beginning of a downward trend right now.

This post is funny. We have never really had highly rated running back recruits. Wayne Gallman and Travis Etienne were rated about the same as David: we have had 4 five star running backs in the last 20 years. Spiller, Bellamy, Shipley, and Bowman. Two of those 5 stars didn’t make it past their first year. Those 3 to 4 star backs have turned out better for us. But keep smoking on whatever you smoking on while crying about Brad losing last night.

247 composite rank for him is 4 star. Rivals has him as the #7 RB in the country. So here you are cherry picking again and only showing the worst numbers you can find to take underhanded cheap shots at the football team and coaches. Saying he is a three star and better than we have been doing lately is absolutely a cheap shot. RB has not been a high priority the last two years because we have Ship and Mafah, who I think were pretty highly rated. So you’re either dumber than I thought or just taking blatant cheap shots. No one is buying your “I m just glad we’re recruiting better” horse hockey.
