And this is Clemson't issue throughout the years. We rarely have a good NIT. We have, but most years we don't look like we should have been to the NCAA party. I'd love to win this one year.

Winning the NIT would be meaningless. I hope we don't even play our seniors and just let our players that are returning play for more experience and practice.

I would argue that maybe it could be better than a play-in game one and done, but not outright in the field of 64 one and done. Currently there is 0 shot at a tourney win. The goal of a season for a Clemson isn’t to win the NIT, it’s to win the NCAA tourney and if not hopefully make a deep run. Not Invited Tourney

There may be little point in the NIT but if both the Tigers and the Tide win out there is a good chance that we can beat Bama in another championship. It doesn't carry the same weight as the Football game but beating Bama for any title is just plain fun. GO TIGERS.
