Sometimes controlled fires are a good thing. But a controlled fire is just that - controlled and for a real purpose with specific goals in place. Put together as precise a plan as is possible and have your contingency and risk mitigation plans in order to course correct if necessary. Consult with and coordinate with experts. Do that chit so you don’t have the extent of things like the recent California wildfires. You can’t prevent forest fires completely but you can manage risk and cultivate / care / provide maintenance for the woodlands.

What you don’t do is fly over and drop napalm and then head down to hang out with the Saudi’s in Miami.
