would make a good president? Not just better that what the other side has to offer, which is why we're in the mess we're in now, but simply based on his own abilities and character apart from who he's running against . . . would he be good for America and good for the world?

Nope. He has a good chance of being the nominee, but it won’t matter. Have you not heard, Trump is going to establish a dictatorship.
Seriously, he has a very good chance of being the nominee, but I don’t see him beating Vance, Rubio, etc., but who knows.
I think he’s all sizzle and no steak, so I hope the Dems nominate Klobuchar, Ro Khana or Wes Moore. While I’m decidedly to the right of all three, I could live with them over Newsom.

Who will he be running against? I think he would do an adequate job as president would be more centered than he has been in California. He is already come out against men in women's sports and those social type íssues. I think he would do well with our allies as well. I hope he isn't the option.

Thank God there is a primary and the voters will have a say. Maybe a guy like Beshear will have a chance.

He won’t have a chance. The primary process will not allow for a centrist Democrat to win the nomination.

Why wouldn't it? Most Dems are centrists. It seems the centrist usually gets the nod. The far left people usually get smoked.

He'd make a horrible president.
He has no innate moral or ethical character.
He's like the rest of the left that goes with whatever the commie masses are chanting that day.
He and the other democrats preceding him have ruined CA. How many people and companies have left or are leaving?

But at least he's an adult and generally acts like one. He's not impulsive, and he's not obsessed with self-enrichment (that I know of) or unlimited power (that I know of), so...roughly a million times better than what we currently have.
I'd pay a couple bucks to see him and Trump on stage together in a debate. He'd mercy-rule that old bag.

I could see AOC getting the nomination. I think she would pick someone like Jasmine Crockett to be her running mate. David Hogg recently commented that Crockett is the type of leader the Democratic party needs...pretty high praise coming from the vice chair of the DNC

Oh.
Well…I guess we’ll get another candidate from the Dems who runs as “not Trump.” Or probably “not Vance”. Heaven forbid they actually have some credentials or accomplishments.

On the other hand, you idolize a clown like Trump, so you wouldn't really be someone who would have any clue anyway. You're pretty clueless on just about every topic.
