It's good that we've been playing them, and we should keep doing it. However, if we have to choose I'd rather play Georgia.

I am a younger fan who missed nearly all of the great Clemson GA football rivalry. The 1st I saw was the 30-0 beatdown in the Valley; left a bitter taste in my mouth. I remember Fred Gibson toasting Justin Miller for the 1st touchdown of the game. And of the course, the 2 games recently in which were split.
We have a LOT of catching up to do. They are truly one team that can say they own us as far as record against us. It's kind of embarassing if you haven't seen it, i'd look. We do have a few very significant victories against them which fuels their side of the hate. I'd like to even it up if possible. Playing them every year again is the only way.

Most of those losses to UGa were at Athens.
I think now that premium games are premium priced it makes sense to schedule UGa home and home at least every other year, skipping the years we play ND. A $70 ticket vs UGa compares to a $35 ticket for Troy.

...dump the coots and play the dawgs as our rival game. Makes more sense from a locality perspective and the dawgs are a much more worthy opponent.
Let USUC and GT battle it out for rival bragging rights each year.

No, the BS talk a few years ago that had us playing a 9 game conference schedule. The ACC officials said that we were going to a 9 game schedule so we had to drop off Ole Miss. then they decided to keep it at 8 and by then Ole Miss had already negotiated with FSU. Go Tigers

I went to Clemson from '88-'92 and while we stopped the UGA rivalry when I was there, it was clearly our biggest rival. Let's face it USuC isn't our rival, we are to them but they suck so it's not a serious rivalry for us, whereas UGA is and always was a big rivalry game because it was two talented and good teams year in and year out.
I would LOVE to see that as a yearly rivalry again.
Perhaps USuC should plan to play the Citadel at the end of every year since that's shaping up to be their newest and toughest rivalry game.
