Did we used to have more serial killers?

Some people really needs to step it up. I ran out of documentaries on Netflix etc about serial killers. Things just aren't the same for the serial killer as it was in the 70's. Times are tough on everyone.

It's sad and very tragic. There used to be an art, a style, some respect for the craft back then. Now it's just immediate gratification all at one time.

And, if any of you are in fact serial killers, I have a lengthy list of names for you to work through to help make your job easier. Because helping is what I do.

Gone Girls on Netflix about the Long Island killer is good.

It's way, way more difficult to get away with even single homicides now than it was in the '70s, '80s, and '90s, much less multiples. There are cameras everywhere. Burner phones can be identified and tracked. This particular guy was successful because he focused on a "we don't care as much" demographic, i.e. sex workers in this case, which is pretty standard for the ones who get away with murder repeatedly (Dahmer, Gacy, etc.). He also lured them from geographically different areas--if a bunch of people from the same town disappear, attention gets ramped up a whole lot faster.

Anyway...I guess that's one of the few positives about the omniscient connectivity and surveillance we have around us these days.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger
