are the worst. My ankles look like I have the chicken pox. And they itch like CRAZY. Just sat for 2 hours at my sons football practice and I now feel like I need an Aveeno and Cortisone bath for my feet and ankles.

the greatest product Avon ever made. Only thing I know of to this day that works in these devil bugs.Not the original designed use of it, but it worked. We used to carry these bottles around with us. We'd douse ourselves with it. I remeber putting in my football helmet on muggy August/September nights. It was a staple of Southern Culture back in the day.
Avon finally figured out why people bought gallons of it in Coastal SC and started making a bug spray out of it.

I musta bought bootleg SSS. That was the appetizer the no seeums had before gnawing on me when I lived in Mt Pleasant in the early 80’s.
Glad the Upstate doesn’t have them.

exactly why I was never a bow hunter. Sitting in the middle of the woods in GA for one season of bow hunting will make you hate bow hunting.
