ACC can’t make moves to expand , because FSU , Clemson and the others that want out will not vote to add anyone because it makes it more difficult to then dissolve the conference.
Big12 has come from almost dead to ahead of the ACC in 18 months .
PAC 12 teams are finding homes , those that are wanted.
PAC 12 teams with value will be dead as soon as Oregon and others bolt.
“Once they are dead the ACC will be relegated to group of 5 type group”
The big 3 conferences will then stop scheduling all ACC schools .
Notre Dame will still be independent, and laughing at the carnage that the suckers in the ACC were as they died of self inflicted wounds.
By not playing the ACC , there will no yardstick to prove Clemson and others belong in the conversation.
Even Dabo can’t recruit with the cards stacked so firmly against him.
Clemson needs to get out at whatever cost now!

This is called presentism meaning you are taking what we know today and applying it to a past decision when what was known at the time was much different. As I recall, we took the only option available at the time which turned out to be a bad decision assuming your school wants out. For schools like BC, Wake and Cuse, the GOR is working perfectly.

LOL. Dude the Big 12 is not ahead of the ACC. They have added pathetic Colorado and Group of five schools. It's a glorified AAC now. They have no network and their new contract after UT and OU leave is only 31.7 million per school and that's split between two networks.

Keep your head in the sand sir… in football outside of about 4 teams the ACC is a group of 5 football conference. 4 schools is a generous estimate

The BIG difference is SEC and BIG have their deal , and ACC has a second tier deal that was made for a “stupid” length of time. Just keep watching , if Clemson, FSU, Va Tech, GS tech, Miami, and UNC don’t find partners tk quit the ACC , there will be no homes for them when the reality sets in.

Ive stated as much numerous times. The ONLY option to stay relevant is to get out of this ridiculous league. There is no one the ACC can add or merge with that will close the gap in any meaningful way. So, the writing is on the wall for anyone not named Valley Girl.

While I don't disagree, I'll just add that ships don't "march". They sail, or float, or in this case, sink. And by "sink" I mean like a 1000 lbs. stone, secured to a heavy chain, connected to a large anchor. The ACC is effed and until we GTFO, we are too.

You are missing the point, all the SEC and Big 10 and Big 12 have to do is get the teams that they want and then….
Stop playing ACC teams. The athletes will stop coming. . The ACC needs to either expand by grabbing Oregon , AZ Az St and sone one else . Or disband. Doing nothing is a sure death .
