It's been a month or so sine the date
was set on less than 6 mos since the President took office. Has to be busy with all his responsibilities, especially newly elected. I agree it's a shame. I wonder how many could make the trip but won't. Again, politics rears it's ugly head.

Boston to D.C. is a quick drive. Clemson, or where these guys are now, is much further. Also, many of these older guys had the draft and pre-draft stuff to worry about. And then the younger guys had spring ball and classes.
On top of all of that, this is not a priority for either side. I'd much rather Trump focus on politics and the Tigers on football, but if they have time to do this, then why not.

Awesome. This is a lot of young men who probably thought they would never see the White House or meet a sitting President. They have that chance and it's amazing.
Sweet reward for very hardworking athletes who achieved their ultimate goal.

I think it's great that the Texans are flying Deshaun and Carlos to the WH. I wish all of our drafted players could make the trip. For some it will be a once in a life time experience. Hell Dabo will have President Trump doing the Clemson Cadence before they leave. They earned this trip
