One of my first thoughts, too! Go Tigers, and let's go to Miami and stomp a mudhole in Tennessee's yellowish-orange arses. Go Tigers!!!

I hate to keep crying over spilt milk, but DABO come on man, he was ready about 6 games ago, I'm still at a loss why he wasn't ready in the SC loss, with an extremely poor showing by DJU, his 2nd half was dismal !!!! But all of a sudden he's in top form and ready to go in the NC Championship game. Apparently you wanted to play in the Orange Bowl instead of playing for the CFP !! The Defense had to bail DJU out in at least 8 games and you saw how the defense turned up about 100% more when Cade came in and started moving the ball in the end zone. Still SMH.

You are wrong on that one...he was more ready than DJ at the spring game...DJ had arrested development syndrome! From the time he got to Clemson his MO was to pick out a receiver and throw the ball as hard as he could, reading, progression and touch was put in the background! RPO wasn't a thing...that drop step when he ran the ball gave it away...he is gone let's support Cade for half as long and we might have our 1st `Thiesman` trophy!

I thought the same. We know DJU is super fragile and it seemed no one would say the truth as he would spiral even more. Is Cafe the opposite? Have the sports psychologists on the program figured out you have to ramp him down to keep him balanced?
Dabo keeps referencing “mistakes” Cade made. ALL players do, but mentions his freshman QB’s more than anyone, calling him out in three public opportunities now. Something is up.

Leadership is not about treating everyone the same. It is about understanding the strengths, weaknesses, and developmental needs of an individual and adapting your feedback and coaching accordingly. DJ got what he needed from Dabo and so will Cade.

they had to show dj videos of him doing good to build his confidence..instead of naming cade the starter and letting him prep for the acc title game..our time was spent showing dj videos go get his confidence up the 13th into the season

I’m really puzzled that Dabo, of all people, is not able to see his duplicity between Cade and DJ.
It is bizarre, and I seriously wonder if Cade and Cade’s parents have recognized this and what their attitude is about this.
I mean, in all seriousness, Cade’s high school resume is more impressive than DJ’s ever was, so, why does CDS seemingly belittle Cade at the expense of DJ?
Again, weird…

Maybe it is because both Cade and his parents have developed a relationship with Dabo that does not cause them to question the way Cade is being handled because they know the man, unlike you or me.

Re-read what you wrote.
You are obsessing over fictional conversations between Cade and his parents, conversations between the Klubniks and CDS, and about the comparative merits oh HIGH SCHOOL resumes between two QBs who have had one or more seasons of COLLEGE football plus college coaching.
Real world stuff is a lot different from the recluse fantasy world of online gaming. Try harder to distinguish between the two.

If we beat TN and Cade makes good decisions and is in synch with blocking schemes and WR routes, then don’t worry … Cade will get plenty of praise.

We no longer have a head case at qb. He's fine. He's ready. When he plays well, let him know. When he screws up, yell at him. Spot the ball. Score points. Celebrate the win. Go home.

of an entirely different calibre, when Cade takes the field against Tennessee, because I don't believe his ACCCG performance was a one-and-done.
There's going to be a mental toughness hardened in battle against some of Texas' biggest and toughest teams with three state titles. In other words I don't think for a second Cade is some nervous Nelly wimp.
And I'd bet the entire team responds with a toughness to match his!

As many of you point out, Dabo’s comments about Cade and DJU continue to be mystifying—even as DJU hits the road after !TWO YEARS! as a subpar starting QB for one of the premier college football programs in the nation, and true freshman Cade Klubnik begins his career as a starter needing an unqualified endorsement by the head coach. Bizarre! People in power dislike journalists who ask tough questions, so we will probably never know the real story. You can go all the way back to last season: If Brock Purdy (who?) had been our starting QB against Georgia, we would have won and the downward spiral we have been on (away from CFP) would never have happened. We would have been undefeated last year and this year— with Purdy or Kenny Pickett or quarterbacks even more obscure than they were. But, hey, the Cade Era has begun. It’s going to be a great ride—right back to the CFP.

Battle hardening in the HS environment does not necessar8ly come from playing on a HS team that was superior across all positions from their competition.
Both CK2 and DJU enjoyed playing for those kind of teams during their respective HS careers.
Vizzina played for a weak team this year. Experiencing difficulty in HS will bat5le harden an incoming recruit more than a player who everyone worshipped while he as in HS.
It may take a bit longer before CK2 reaches the point where his decision making is where it needs to be.
Please don’t dump on CK2 if he doesn’t meet everyone’s exuberant expectations during his next few games.
CK2 will be a fine QB for us, but don’t expect him to immediately get us back to the CFP.

This is ridiculous. Vizzina's team sucked, but he played against terrible competition as well. You'd expect him to completely take every game over against that level of competition. I'm more concerned about (1) Vizzina's release (he drops his elbow every single play which slows a release time considerably, it's fixable, but lol at Streeter managing to improve a QB's mechanics) and (2) he puts way too much air under his passes, especially on the sidelines. He's a well-rounded QB who is really good on timing and has a strong arm, but your post lambasting Cade who is more of a demonstrated winner is ridiculous.

None of us saw one practice so none of us saw what the coaches saw. Period. Therefore we are not qualified to give anything except an uninformed opinion. As soon a V. steps on the practice field as the back-up quarterback he will automatically become the best player on the team and Dabo is nuts for not playing him. Just let Cade have a bad game (and odds are he will - he's human)and see what happens on tigernet.

As far as the team responding, we have seen the team reaching another few higher gears when he comes in to play. Those guys have been playing a lot of FB since grade school, and it wasn't a question in their minds who the best Tiger QB was, but they were never to speak of it, and that I will promise!!! As our friends Smiling Tiger® would say, it's mind bottling!!!

The first national championship was not played at Hard Rock Stadium. It was played at the old Orange Bowl in Miami. The old Orange Bowl was not in the best part of town, but it was actually in Miami.

Hopefully DABO's has learned something from his bad lab experiment gone from bad to worst with a very fragile minded QB and will never be repeated!! SMH
The "BIG STENKO" experiment, wish the young man all the luck with his new home at OS. Obviously they want to regress also.
