Is that where we're supposed to be in the Clemson Athletic Department and TNET "party line" at this point"?
1.Blindly accept that millions go to a man that has never delivered equitable results, so that individuals should stop posting negative assessments.
2. Take pride in the fact that the good people of Clemson have harangued a young kid mercilessly for the last two years, until said kid accepted whatever blame was necessary to account for poorer results of the football team and subsequently bolted to safer environs.
If so, personally, you make me sick on all accounts...

I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, because 99% of the Clemson fans I know (most of whom are grads) would disagree with that assessment.
1) Not a single Clemson fan I know think Brad's building a basketball powerhouse, or that we're improving.
2) Not a single Clemson fan I know wanted DJ to fail, or criticized him publicly. Prayed for him, yes. Harangued him, definitely not.
I could be wrong, but you sound like a typical Gamecock fan "projecting".
Check your facts, and your stats, because you're hilariously MISINFORMED.

As stated earlier, I don’t like the game of basketball and don’t follow it. I don’t care who our coach is. It is not that important to me.
What gets on my last nerve is the continual bombardment of threads on Tnet all saying the same thing. Namely, “I hate Brownell ( or the childish Brownlee or Brown-L). The constant threat of “if I don’t get my way I will take my ball ( IPTAY dues) and go home”.
Then the obnoxious “look at ME types” with their immature “I sent Neff an angry email”. Hope they feel better. But seeing as how Mr. Neff has already made his decision concerning Brad Brownell as far as retaining him goes, I don’t know what they think they accomplished. I doubt Mr. Neff even reads those emails after perusing the first sentence.
You guys can keep crying, screaming, holding your breath, falling down and kicking the floor, refusing to eat your supper and not sharing your toys. Adults don’t care. We’re just sick and tired of all the complaining.
Why not wait until next year before rolling out all your threats and tantrums? It might do some good then. It’s too late this year.

so why not save the buyout and then both parties can just move on as cheaply as possible. That being said, how can you all keep bitching about a BB coach AT CLEMSON that wins 50% of the ACC games this year? No, I do not think Brownell is going to take Clemson BB any further up the ACC BB food chain, but I can pretty much guarantee that there are only 3 or 4 BB coaches in the country that could and they earned their cred at BB-focused schools. Brownell is a quality guy, runs an honest, student-athlete focused program, loves Clemson and his players. We could do much worse.

Check the history of Clemson basketball. Even you will be able to figure out Brad Brownell has exceeded all previous coaches. He has built a program. I do not understand why the Lunatic Fringe hates him so much. And as far as DJU is concerned, you obviously haven't been watching him play for the past two seasons. as hate. I define it as sanity. I've watched ACC ball since the mid-1970's (until a decade ago), attended three Final Fours and dozens of Sweet 16's, and know good ball. This explains why I cannot watch Brownell and his proteges panic in high pressure games and situations year after year.
