Clemson asst Steve Smith knew the exact time it took to get from Clemson's arena to Zion's house—1 hour, 4 minutes—and is caught joking, telling a story about how had to pretend to Brad Brownell about not knowing the route/distance the first time they both went to see Zion there.

Right. 2 wrongs don't make a right. But where's the FIRST wrong? Does anyone really believe DUKE will ever be caught/punished/prosecuted for any wrong? They'll hammer Clemson - but never the Dukes of "King K."
UNC & Duke have a lifetime pass for any & all felonies, misdemeanors or violations of any kind.

Looks like Steve Smith might be out of a job in the very near future.
The Clemson Board of Trustees is meeting tomorrow to discuss coaching contracts, including Brownell's as well as basketball assistants. Sounds like a good time to discuss a healthy budget for Smith's replacement.

Sounds to me like he was trying use Clemson football as a “see we’re one of the major players too” type argument to sway Zion. Keep the football program’s name out of your mouth. Recruit on your own merits. If that’s not good enough, then step aside.
