THAT is the epitome of of why CBB should have been fired. I’ve accepted that we get a number of players who aren’t highly rated, but just want the experience of playing in the ACC against the best teams, but now there’s 3 stars bailing on us. 😡

How come Galloway had to play 30+ minutes at that spot last night when he clearly couldn't make a shot or cover people?

Beadle redshirted the previous year.
I assume Gibson agreed to the redshirt with good intentions.
We obviously had a crowded backcourt with Galloway, Hemeneway, Beadle and the Hunter bros.
This tells me that Hemenway is likely returning. And/Or that Chase will return to the 2 guard while Dillon & Beadle play point next year.
Looking at it, it seems Gibson would have contributed off the bench next season...but then Hunter & Hemenway would be gone and in theory, he would be "the guy" after that.

I don't see how another year if Hemenway trumps keeping Gibson on the team. Don't know if it's an either or choice but if so and I was Brad I would tell Hemenway thanks for the memories but we're moving on without you.

Yeah, unfortunately Hemenway is one dimensional offensively and has trouble getting shot attempts against decent teams. Rarely drives to the hoop or open spots for midrange shots playing mostly outside the 3 pt line. So doesn't score consistently enough to offset his lack of production on defense.

That is independent of other players on our roster.
Chase Hunter and Alex Hemenway will both be back. We will have Dillon Hunter also. Not sure about Josh Beadle yet.
We will be active in the transfer portal. A guard is a top priority.
Our roster can (and will) improve between now and late summer-early fall.

Not just an insider- he’s painting himself as a coach. Who else would be privy to internal player evaluations the day the season ends. But I know he’s full of sh*t because he’s been fanboying Clemson basketball on TNEt since Purnell was coach. And he made the same arguments about lack of support for him too. He just threw Purnell under the bus and hitched his wagon to Brownell. If he was employed by Clemson I’d love to find out because I’m pretty sure I could get him fired for his posts trashing the Clemson fan base as redneck racist white trash. I think they’d also enjoy some of the ones where he encouraged people not to contribute to IPTAY too.

Tigers hang in there never give up when things look bleak.
