Despite the fact that he is looking at the chance of starting 4 years for the Tigers?!?
THAT is the epitome of of why CBB should have been fired. I’ve accepted that we get a number of players who aren’t highly rated, but just want the experience of playing in the ACC against the best teams, but now there’s 3 stars bailing on us. 😡

Who plays the 2 guard next year? Who gives us any flexibility for a 3 guard lineup as a "bigger guard"?
Is Alex H returning?
Are we heading for a Hunter bros backcourt with Beadle coming off the pine?
How come Galloway had to play 30+ minutes at that spot last night when he clearly couldn't make a shot or cover people?
Did C. Gibson stink in practice or something?

Your points are valid, but note that Gibson redshirted this year, so he couldn't have played even if he wanted to.

Redshirt guys still get to practice.
Beadle redshirted the previous year.
I assume Gibson agreed to the redshirt with good intentions.
We obviously had a crowded backcourt with Galloway, Hemeneway, Beadle and the Hunter bros.
This tells me that Hemenway is likely returning. And/Or that Chase will return to the 2 guard while Dillon & Beadle play point next year.
Looking at it, it seems Gibson would have contributed off the bench next season...but then Hunter & Hemenway would be gone and in theory, he would be "the guy" after that.

I don't see how another year if Hemenway trumps keeping Gibson on the team. Don't know if it's an either or choice but if so and I was Brad I would tell Hemenway thanks for the memories but we're moving on without you.

Yeah, unfortunately Hemenway is one dimensional offensively and has trouble getting shot attempts against decent teams. Rarely drives to the hoop or open spots for midrange shots playing mostly outside the 3 pt line. So doesn't score consistently enough to offset his lack of production on defense.

That is independent of other players on our roster.
Chase Hunter and Alex Hemenway will both be back. We will have Dillon Hunter also. Not sure about Josh Beadle yet.
We will be active in the transfer portal. A guard is a top priority.
Our roster can (and will) improve between now and late summer-early fall.

Pretty low class to say that a kid who by all accounts has not been in any trouble with the program’s transfer is “something we are happy with.” Have some respect for someone who traveled halfway across the country to be sold of bill of goods by Transfer Maestro Brad.

Not just an insider- he’s painting himself as a coach. Who else would be privy to internal player evaluations the day the season ends. But I know he’s full of sh*t because he’s been fanboying Clemson basketball on TNEt since Purnell was coach. And he made the same arguments about lack of support for him too. He just threw Purnell under the bus and hitched his wagon to Brownell. If he was employed by Clemson I’d love to find out because I’m pretty sure I could get him fired for his posts trashing the Clemson fan base as redneck racist white trash. I think they’d also enjoy some of the ones where he encouraged people not to contribute to IPTAY too.

Idk if you’re a huge football fan but our football coach has worn that one out. It’s not like Hemenway can’t shoot. His job is to play 10-15 minutes a game and make as many 3’s as possible. This is obvious
Unlike the football roster which is loaded with Dabos buddies sons. The Turners are the only players that have earned it

Hate this, wish these guys would not give up on Clemson, how was the crowd at Clemson last night? Could not be there for health reasons like back surgery. Tigers hang in there never give up when things look bleak. I know everyone says wait until next year but the talent we have I hope you guys will stay together and prove that there are bad days for teams. Rough game but still very proud of what I saw in the talent of you guys. Love you guys!!!!
