series. The drill has ground up several boats worth of fiberglass dust from rigging, cutting speaker VHF and radio holes, rigging etc. I used the reciprocating saw to cut down a bunch of trees and limbs last year at the beach rental. I built a shed extension with the circular saw.
All of them are still rolling.

There was I guess.

Point of clarification: I towed a much larger, much heavier Grady White with the 2500 and the 3500--that boat needed it.
Then I sold the 3500 when I realized I could 1) get out of it exactly what I paid for it) and 2)tow what I had with just about anything, and get literally twice the gas mileage doing it.
I get it. But at some point I gotta draw the line. Sure..I could buy all Snap On or Mac tools, but I haven't had craftsmen or crescent tools fail me yet. As for boats, I've had my Sea Hunt longer than any boat I've ever owned, and if you want to get laughed at, tell the tournament guys you have a Sea Hunt. (and really, I'm pretty happy I didn't buy that Pathfinder now, with all teh failing stringer stories I'm seeing). Even with houses, I've gotten to the point of not even caring about it. If my wife ever decided she had enough of my crap, I'd prob just move into an RV or a condo somewhere.
Maybe my old age is mellowing me even deeper into the world of "who gives a chit".

Don’t even have to live in Europe to take advantage…I’ve worked for a European company the past 8 years and it has been awesome…even us lowly American employees get 4 weeks PTO plus a four paid week sabbatical every ten years…I somehow have to figure out how to use almost 10 weeks of combined PTO/sabbatical time in 2024. Highly recommend if any of you get a chance.

but ain't no dang way I'd ever spend $600 on cookware.
As "unmanly" as it is, I'd opt for the LeCreuset. It'll last you the rest of your life. The other stuff will crap out or be obsolete inside of 5 years.

If so, it may have a lifetime warranty (Ala Calphalon), but it won't last a lifetime.

I ordered a Charbroiled smoker and it ended up being some super flimsy knockoff that was missing half the hardware. It's been sitting on my back porch and I haven't used it but once.
Hope you actually get what you order.

I haven't done anything crazy with the drill or impact driver, but I had to help a buddy cut some iron railings off his porch last December. I used the hackzall and made really short work of things. He used the oscillating multitool with great success too. The blades we used that night were mid grade, Id say.
