I’ll be honest, I’m gonna miss them. Hearing the war chant always adds a little pizzazz to the atmosphere.

I agree. I love it when the opposing teams bring their bands as well. I think it adds to the atmosphere.

Some of it is proximity, no doubt, but I think schools bring the band when football is important to them and the fan base. UGA, FSU, T A&M, SCAR, GA TECH, etc. If it's not, you see "pep bands" or less.

I wish they were coming too - I enjoy the pageantry even if I dont like them...Like someone else said, maybe they will bring a scaled back version.

Not at all. We have sat in WEZ for years, and I don't need to hear the opposing band music at my seat!

I think they are bringing a pep band according to a post on here. Probably still be in the corner near the WEZ. That's how a lot of SEC schools are doing it. I noticed Carolina with a smaller band sitting in the corner at UGA Saturday.

I remember seeing Va Tech put Tiger Band in the upper deck and thinking what complete a-sshats they are. We have been giving opposing bands prime seats for years and get nothing in return. Either the Acc mandates how the opposing band is to be seated or just leave them home.

It’s part of the pageantry, which is what makes college football great.
Terrible decision by our admin.
I don’t care if the other schools are doing it.
As Dabo says, “Right is right, even if no one is doing it. Wrong is wrong, even if everybody is doing it.”
Major red flag on G Neff that he joined in on this stupid trend.
Hmmm… let’s think of the next thing we can do to make people not like college sports anymore…
