Tesla Question for the Board

Starting at today's price $234 at 0935, will Tesla stock hit $100 or $400 first? I say $400.

What say you?

I am gonna have to take the under on this one. While there will be points to move in and out of TSLA to book some profit, longer term it is gonna trend down.

BYD will crush it worldwide, the robotaxi is not gonna get past the regulators as AutoPilot is simply a joke and not safe even with a meat sack behind the wheel. Sales on new TSLA have trended lower and forecasts do not look good.Used prices are in the toilet too.

Robotics? Meh, that seems to be a look over here shiny object to distract from poor sales and quality issues. Really the same as the robotaxi.

If we tip in to a big ole recession , as it looks likely, TSLA gets crushed as the is no tangible profits to justify anywhere near valuations.

and now with BYD surpassing Tesla with technology, it's never going back to $400.

I'm taking the under.

Not that I have anything other than my own opinion here and do not own a crystal ball I think it could go way lower than $100.
Ford sells 2x + the vehicles or more and is currently priced at $10+change. TSLA valuation is based upon hype, hope and unicorn farts currently, once again just my opinion.

At around $175 Elon is either out as CEO or forced to quit meddling in the government and refocus on his day job.

If they force Elon out then TSLA gets valued as an automobile manufacturer- $10-$30 a share.

They should be. AFAIK, Tesla isn't selling it's technology.

It applies their technology to their cars, and sells those.

If Elon goes away, I don't think the tech innovations they put in their cars does.

One can only look to BYD to see TSLA is way behind right now on tech. The Cult of Elon has propped up this stock for a long time, remove Elon at their own peril.

Autopilot is a joke, Ford,GM and MB systems all far surpass the TSLA junk. I thought the Wiley Coyote painted road test was hilarious!

Then again maybe Elon will get Trump to approve a very unsafe , poor performing Autopilot to allow for robotaxis?

Nope; Elon isnt the driving force behind Teslas innovation nor is he an engineer

Tesla seems to be counting on their Robotaxi rollout in Austin to turn things around.

I myself have some doubts. I mean, not only is Austin in the heart of oil country, which would still very much like to see the end to all electric vehicles (what the $%^& was Elon thinking of, moving Tesla's HQ there?), but Travis County also went 68.7% for Kamala Harris - and 71.5% for Joe Biden in 2020.

I think his rollout may encounter a few teething pains. Just a suspicion.

Google Waymo is light years ahead of TESLA FSD, and what has not been reported is Musk lost several of his top engineers last year, the brain drain started last summer.

I have his FSD, it is neat, but it relies on cameras and has no lidar, meaning you can draw a Wile'Coyote Road and the sucker will try to run through it.

Around $68 is a fair price now based on profits, potential growth, and other inflated stocks. Being generous to give it rhe same P/E as apple in this case. If we have a recession caused by real fundamentals instead of Trump’s syphilitic lunacy, half of that price. But revenue and profits are trending down sharply, and I don’t see how they come out of this without forcing Elon out.

400 based on what

Mar 21, 2025, 4:23 PM

It will bottom around about 160, if it gets below 130 Musk is toast. It is worth 80 at best. His FSD is a joke and he facing multiple wrongful death lawsuits. Yesterday they recalled 46k cybertrucks, basically all of them because the body panels are falling off on the highway, His robots are a fraud, he is under investigation for fraud, 1.6 billion just went missing from his company, and his sales are bottoming out. His relatives, as well as officers at the company, are dumping their stock. In what world will we see Tesla at 400 any time soon? I would not be shocked to see him forced out.
