XT is as good as any D lineman we have. Why would he not at least get drafted. I am aware of his injury prone.

I hope he makes a squad
But there are a ton of players at DE that have a huge advantage in leverage over him
I agree that he will be a free agent or play in Canada
His size makes him more of an LB but his lateral quickness and athleticism will be a problem for him.
I hope he makes it but its not likely

I don't see TD opting out. He loves playing for Clemson more than anything. I would sub Carter in for Davis on that list.

He got jumped by 2 true Frosh in Terrell and Lewis and Lukas is ahead of him too. He'd probably only play if guys get hurt. Tranferring would be understandable in his situation IMO.

Yep. Can’t blame the kid in this day and age. I thought he played well at times last year and this year but he’s not beating out Terrell. Wished he stay and develop and add depth.

Unfortunately Dabo prunes but never replaces from the portal. Is that why we are thin and a 4 loss program now?

Clemson would have to 9 Underclassmen leave(draft/Portal) in order to get to 20,which is what the recruiting guys say the class will be.

XT has played great the last few games. Not sure if the NFL trusts he can stay healthy enough to play in the NFL. He might get drafted late or not drafted at all. Hopefully he will have a chance to prove himself.

That's got to be XT or B. Carter. XT's biggest knock is his durability. He may not be able to afford to sit out anymore games to show that those issues are behind him. If it's Carter, he probably doesn't want the poor effort he had versus SCar to leave such a lasting and final impression.

There is mounds of ‘tape’ on these guys already and there’s the combine and individual workouts with nobody running towards your knees.
Nobody, especially #3 need to put ‘more tape’ to show durability and NFL staffs are going to coach them 24/7. The players just need to stay healthy.
More than 4 draft able players for Clemson will opt out before the game. These are the times and I support them. Time for underclassmen to practice AND play. GO TIGERS!

Actually. Kearse mentally opted out a few months earlier and cost Clemson a Naty with his lackluster performances, busted coverages, poor tackling and nonchalant play on special teams. We would have been better off playing with backups.

He was not getting paid the market value. Other schools wanted him as their RB1 but we paid him and promised more reps. If Ship does not leave, he probably will.
