Important to our success as anyone. CJ is not only the perfect ambassador for Clemson but without him committing to Clemson it's doubtful our recruiting would be nearly as phenomenal as it would be had CJ went elsewhere. We're extremely lucky to have so many special players at but CJ Spiller was and has been a game changer. To this day I've never seen teams kick it out of bounds on kickoffs to keep it out of CJs hands.

jk I would probably have to say Terry Allen, mainly because he wasn't highly recruited yet went on to have a great career at Clemson and in the NFL. Gallman is shooting up the charts for me as well.

Was merriweather the rb that Bowden took out of a Clemson/USuCk game that cost us a win on the last play.. #### getting old can't remember the year but he got us all the way down the field and then kind of like Seattle game last year decided to give it to someone else

While I never saw him play, I worked for him at Fike as a gym attendant in the late 70s. Both he AND Fred Cone were awesome people. Back then I had no idea who they even were in terms of Clemson legends...

No love shown for Duane Coleman or Yusef Kelly? Hahaha.
Roderick McDowell was a great young man. Met him a few times, we are from the same time. He worked at the YMCA and was stoked about coming to CU. his production wasn't incredibly high but he was such a humble man.
As far as my favorites in my limited CU experience (starting in '01) I'd have to say Ellington.

CJ Spiller sure still stands out, because we get to see Him on Sundays now. However, Wayne Gallman " The Wayne Train" is making his statement in school history already. With next year coming and an explosive offense, He might do it again. He's got a great career in front of Him, I'm sure He'll want to show his toughness this year for NFL scouts to see his abilities. Being coached by a former pro doesn't hurt either which has definitely helped his game, I'd say He's making the biggest statement we've seen in a long time at that position. I hope he has a great year this year as well, with similar if not bigger numbers.
