Tigerama takeaways

Oct 19, 2018, 10:35 PM

I went tonight for the first time in years.

The team looked loose and ready. Wilkins gave some good words to the crowd and had a great moment with David, the team helper with special needs. David predicted Clemson to win 36-0. Dabo said that he's giving NC State some respect as he usual says like 56-0.

The skits were all good. But as usual, they chose the winner with the always flawed "loudest cheers" barometer. As the last introduced group runs those type of votes 90% of the time.

8 of the 10 Queen finalists were blonde: and they can say what they want about the accolades and stuff but the top 5 chosen were the 5 most aesthetically attractive as usual.

The main singer in Tiger Roar, the guy with the glasses and beard who started the 1st sing.. he has a legit world class voice. Not just a typical good scalpels voice like most of them, but a voice that truly stands out. He will have a music career if he wants it.

Note to TigerBand; Bohemian Rhapsody is just not a pleasing song to the ears in band version.

The fireworks were really good but I was mildly disappointed they didn't end in a Tiger Paw as was rumored

Not enough shots were taken at NC State!

Great show overall and a fun time

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

Take shots at State?

Wouldn't that be stooping down to their level?

of "The Tiger," I was the Skits Committee Chairman for Tigerama and enjoyed the experience.

Tigerama was a pretty big deal in those days, so we put a lot of effort into the show. It always amazed me with its large attendance usually without problems...which was probably the result from the large number of alumni and older fans present. lol

Pep rally in the country.

I looked up who the largest was, it's Gator Growl at Florida.

We loved coming up Friday’s for Tigerama when my children were growing up. Then they moved it inside and took some of the ambience away. Glad it’s back out on the field.
