Tips on edging?

Just got done with the lawn and used the weed eater to edge. Now I’ve got bloody shins and it looks like crap. Do you use a weed eater or an edger? Am I doing it wrong? How much better is an edger? Do you get a hand powered one or gas?

If you can do it for long enough, you're brain and boner will become one and at that point, you'll get the most satisfaction out of your arousal. I know we were talking about edging, but I like to push it to the gooning phase.

cutting the lines back so that it looks pretty rough. Then in Week 3, once everything has shaped up, I'll gingerly go back over it, making sure I'm only hitting the mangled portions. A few rounds of that, and you'll eventually get a nice line where the soil sits a little bit above the concrete and looks somewhat natural.
Ideally, you would have a blade edger. The handle on my Ecko gets binded up and twisted so much that I just gave up on it. Gonna get one of the old school ones that you can push at some point.
Also, try sticking your finger in your ######## right before you nut.
