My 78 year old Bride helped me get my new boat into the water.
I am the world's worst at backing a trailer, so a chore.

About 3 minutes after I headed to my dock, the motor quit.
I was stranded in the middle of Lake Hartwell.
Not really as I had nailed on my old 36v trolling motor that will pull hard all day.
I don't really need a gas motor.

I am not a mechanic. New on this boat was a thing in the fuel line (some kind of environmental thing?)
I replaced all that with an old timey fuel line, and the motor now purrs so quietly you don't notice it.
