and only one of them thinks Clemson will even get out of the Regional

SEC are blinded by their loyalty to the conference they can't be objective when making picks. The fact Clemson won the head to head, has twice as many top 50 RPI wins, has a 9-1 record over their last 10 games, but yet the coots are gonna win.......... lol

It is kind of harsh to expect him to think otherwise. Winning the ACC tourney was a pretty big upset but I'm glad we did.

Dude, you're bandwagoning a year old argument that you obviously know nothing about. And you obviously know nothing about D1baseball (the website) if you disagree that they have an ACC bias, which is what my comment was about.

That was a back and forth series. They could have easily won 2, but I agree with you. I think it is more so based on the fact that our pitching has been inconsistent and we may lose a game that we shouldn't and in the tournament that could put the fork in us.

If they are prescient enough to call the results through the Supers, then they must have know all along that we'd win 13 of our last 15 and our last nine in a row.

D1 Baseball has been very positive towards Clemson all season long.
During this last part of the season they have said we deserve everything that has happened.
They are looking at the facts and the fact is we have a very poor bullpen.
The Tigers make a lot of errors but are gritty .
In post season when games tend to be close that's not a good combination to have.
They just don't figure in that this team has the will to win.

pick all chalk because if they did nobody would listen to their show. Heck, it's just human nature to pick some upsets when filling out a bracket.
When you take a step back and look at Clemson you see a team that has really overachieved and played above their talent level. It's a team that makes a ton of errors, a team that lacks pitching depth, and a team that has some fairly significant holes in the lineup (though we did get nice production in Durham).
We've been able to put together a really nice season despite some very obvious roster flaws, and that's something that Monte Lee deserves (and has received) a tremendous amount of credit for, but when you are looking for a few teams that could potentially get upset along the way, we are certainly a candidate - at least on paper. We certainly need to avoid the losers bracket.
