this before or not...
I drove by there not too long ago and the place looks tiny. Am I missing something...this was all it was, right? Except the swimming pool has been filled in.

I didn't see a way to change dates of the Google maps you posted to see if it had changed.

But it didn't look as bad as the Google Earth maps show it does now.

Wow. Talk about how the memories differ from reality.

We went there in '87 to celebrate the Tigers' soccer natty. It was a private club at the time and in the 80s it seemed exclusive. A classy place.
But lawd...

I've posted it before, and yeah, it looks like it shrank.

It was probably a regular Goldenwoods building and they knocked a few walls out and combined 2 or 3 units, although the lack of a bottom floor makes it a lil different than everything else there. I dunno...weird. And way smaller than it seemed like in the 90s.

Shop is now?
All I can barely remember about it was the Monday night $! Pitchers and it was Murray Jarmin’s favorite hangout place.

It is SO different than my memories of the place, which are happy memories. I remember the place a brightly lit and while not big, it felt big with the layout. Now it's small, derelict, and dystopian looking. I cannot look away. APM might need a drank.

it into apartments or houses (private). The mud hole has dried up next to it and was overgrown as well. Sad to see. The rest of Goldenwoods looked like the ####hole I remembered. It helps one appreciate what you have seeing where you came from. I lived mostly in Johnstone and Golden Woods at Clemson. Helluva motivation to make something of yourself, that's for sure.
