Yeah “don’t send your kid to Clemson” because of one guy from who knows where driving down the street? The problem is this is how they actually think just like the poster saying he wished it was a crime. These people are so drunk on power they have totally forgotten what real liberalism is all about like when they so vigorously debated the artists right to display a cross in urine and used to demand that everyone had a right to peaceably assemble and protest.
Now this crowd is about deplatforming, speech codes, murderous riots (Yes people were killed including a black police officer who you can’t even name because this isn’t really about black lives, it’s about something much more nefarious), and silencing opposition.
Read BLMs own website and platform. Read the proposals NOW being drafted and in some cases PASSED in city halls. Watch what mayors across the nation are saying and doing, banning funerals and church service in clear violation of the first amendment while making exemptions for riots. Selective law enforcement in their cities to allow rioters to tear down statues. This is no longer about right and left, or liberal and conservative, this is about the nation slowly devolving over the past few decades and reaching a tipping point. The tipping point has nothing to do with finally saving black lives, it has everything to do with a very dark agenda.
Ask yourself, one time have you seen anything on the news about the real problems within the black community that we all need to work towards solving? Hint, it will NOT get better because we are attacking strawmen (law enforcement and White people) and not even whispering about the true issues (family breakdown, drug addiction, lack of prioritization on education, poor financial decisions). The real topics are not even PERMITTED to be discussed.
It’s sad, really sad. And it runs so much deeper than the pretext in front of us.

You are right about deeper problems in "their" community. But that's half the problem, self-segregation, poverty, drug addiction those are problems that have to be addressed. But within that thought is, it's partly their fault. In fact, black men are 4 1/2 times more likely to be pulled over by the cops yet they represent on 13% of the population.
Cops keep killing black people. It used to be that cops wrestled you to the ground and handcuffed you. Now, they seem to shoot people...a lot. Right now the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating 48 police-involved killings so far this year. That seems like a lot.

With all due respect I think the frequency was certainly much higher in the past but we now live in the Technology Age, where things are so much more transparent than they used to be. There are certainly faults to this age, but I think this is a strength because it allows the public to see exactly what’s going on in their community and across the country.
People talk about “crime these days” but the level of violent crime now vs the early 1990s is a fraction of what it used to be. However because we can receive the information immediately and right into our pocket, it feels a lot worse.
Regardless, the number of unarmed deaths at the hand of the police should be 0, regardless of color, and the fact that people are trying to push back against that idea is a problem.

And there you go, no cops don’t “keep killing Black people”, there are police killings of all races and Always will be. Why have you never seen the tony Tipa or Daniel Shaver videos? Why not a peep from the media about those cases?
Cops needs to be investigated in every killing (especially those while already in custody, those are typically the worst, many times the shootings are actually the most dramatic on camera but when all the context is found out they are warranted).
I’m interested in data, not emotion. Let’s cut down on the police issues but not stereotype police which the tidal wave is doing (which ITSELF is concerning because you see a population so easily swayed into these herd movements now). If the standard is rioting (condoned by the left, and it’s on camera so let’s not not deny the support of leftist media and politicians) every tome there is a police incident in a nation of over 330M people, then we will riot forever.
See, you are riding the wave right now and feel empowered because everything you turn on is an echo chamber, but there is no end game for this movement because none of the ideas are feasible. Getting rid of police? Huge movement right now, will actually hurt leftists the most (white liberals in the cities won’t have protection and minority groups WILL be the groups harmed the most when police are removed). Reparations using the post WW2 payments to Japanese as a model? Also not feasible, every Japanese who received payment WAS INTERNED not distant relatives. And the execution is near impossible. Does 1/2 qualify? 1/4, 1/8? First generation African immigrants? California will totally choke on implementation. 10% tax on whites? No way it’s flies in court. Most of your ideas will fall flat in court.

Sorry, C, but this is about the same importance as the Gamecocks getting beat 56-7 but only wanting to talk about our players calling them racist names (which amazingly went away when they found out it wasn't white guys saying it.)
Since nobody actually talked to the driver of the 4WD, we can only guess, but I imagine he figured that a flag is only a symbol and didn't hurt anyone. It was childish and makes us look mean, but he didn't break any windows, steal any stuff, kneel on anyone's throat or infect anyone with Covid-19.
Last time I checked, he (I assume it's a guy) still has the right to fly that flag, even if it's in poor taste and timing.
You're taking him more seriously than he takes himself.
