Dating slightly chubby girls

I wasn't always as discerning in my tastes for women, and those old habits die hard. For some reason, I've found myself in a situation where I've been banging a Columbia 7, but who is also about 16 lbs over weight. She is absolutely gorgeous in every way except for the winter coat she's carrying about her waist. She's not fat by any means, perhaps just a little thick and fluffy.

Now, she's a nice girl and the goods are pretty fire, but I can't help but think about being seen with her in public. She asks to go to dinner/brekkie sometimes and I find myself looking around to make sure other acquaintances don't see me with her. What should I do?

a) Continue to brood while having a good time with her in the relative privacy of my home
b) Break it off before I hurt her feelings with my shallowness and douchiness
c) Some combination of the two.

What do, boys? At 36 years of age, it's mostly chubby chix, divorced chix with kids, crazy tattoo girls with daddy issues (yes mommy), or youngn's who are too stupid and inexperienced to be of use.

Also, have you thought about the honest approach? I was always taught that honesty was the best policy. Just tell her that you think she needs to lose 16 lbs and that it's become a problem. Mention that you think you are better than she is and that you don't want your friends to see you with her, or let alone, some more physically fit lady, that you might be able to ditchher for if the better looking woman doesn't look down on you for being with a slightly chubby chick. Tell her that this can all be resolved if she would just lose the fat that is bothering you. Tell her how much you enjoy being around her, but the fat gets in the way of your plans. Just a thought. She would probably appreciate your honesty.
