Holy crap. Unexpected.
Looked at his film, and looked pretty much like you'd expect the #1 QB in the country to look...what an arm. Pinpoint accuracy, goes through a progression as quick as any high school QB I've ever seen, gets the ball out so fast you almost think you're looking at Dan Marino, just zero hesitation or intervening thought between decision and execution. Crazy polished for a HS school, one of that new breed of mutant we're seeing who could probably jump straight into the NFL (or close) out of high school.
Not as mobile as Deshaun, but looks reasonably athletic...and with that arm and decision-making, and the way he gets the ball out, he probably won't run for as many yards as Watson but he looks like he could well throw for as many or more.
Not a project. Not a redshirt. This is yet another polished, game-ready QB right out of the box.
I guess that's where we're recruiting right now. Different world, for sure.

Oh my goodness, we have been so blessed with two great recruits today. I believe both of them will help recruit.
Thank you my Lord for blessing us so much since Dabo got here. Streeter knocked out of the ballpark with this QB. We have to be grateful with being blessed so much. This isnt a mark of a moment to big for Clemson but an answer to the question if we are going to get better and challenge every year with a resounding yes!
