Making moves in the transfer portal again. USC got Anthony Lucas, DL. 19th ranked over all. Dorian Singer, WR. 21st ranked over all. Christian Wallace, CB. 35th ranked over all. Marshawn Lloyd, RB from Gamecoocks. 39th overall. Mason Cobb, LB. 54th overall. These are immediate impact players. Along with about ten others.
I wish Dabo would do the same. Not asking for 15 transfers but 3 or 4 would be nice. And i don't mean backup QBs either.

At the moment concerning Clemson using the portal is numbers -- we are over the limit already and actually need some to leave to meet the 85 scholarship limit.
I suspect next year might be the year we (potentially) become more active with the portal.

Since you have no idea what SC's numbers are, you can't understand the transfers. Our numbers do not allow it unless you advocate no longer recruiting high school players and oh by the way, if we did and then didn't get the transfers, what would we do? Managing numbers is hard.

For someone who doesn’t follow portal rankings, could you clarify the terminology? Does 39th overall mean the 39th best player in the portal, as I would assume? If so, I am not all that impressed. 39th among those who backed out for reasons we may not even know. In that context should we really feel left out?
I think there’s gold in them there hills, but all that glitters…
