Yeah, but we could have probably changed the scheme a little to help buy Cade some time?

We were doing a nice job getting the ball out quickly on the perimeter in the first half and then just completely abandoned it in the second half

1st half lots of dropped balls. Second half lots of over/under throws by Cade. Cade was very accurate 1st half, second half he was just off.

for starters, no wr screens or throws to mafah should have been called at all. heck, put our 'speedsters' at rb if the backup rbs are so bad they can't replace an injured mafah.

Break it down by half's, second half probably the worse he's had in 2 seasons.

It definitely played a huge roll. Losing what we lost on D did not help either.
After Thomas went down I was just hoping to get out with a win.
The play calling was terrible. And we missed opportunities with dropped balls and several missed throws that would have been big.

Sober guys probably but the unrealistic and sauced ones think we have to be unbeaten every year to have a good team.
Most football fans would trade in a heartbeat to have our winning and consistency considering the Nil season we are in where money rules & we don’t have the dollars to compete with 15 or so teams nil wise and Dabo won’t shop others players before they strike a deal to hit the portal.
Hopefully the future will be better to little ole!

He showed a bit of himself last season. It took a long time in between the Jimbo years and the first Successful Norvell year, but he finally let it slip. He nor any FSU fan will get any quarter from me.

Yes, and they game planned for it and a backup QB(who could start at many P4 programs). Also lost backup RB and top slot/tailback type player.
Both teams were/are a MASH unit.

Absolutely Bret.....
What always struck out to me during our run of 6 CFPs was how lucky we were in regards to injuries. Yes we had injuries and guys missing, but overall were very lucky that we stayed very healthy. Sure, there was amazing talent and depth, but avoiding the injury bug is a HUGE part of the lucky a team needs for the stars to align to have a great season.
We have not been so lucky the last 2-3 years and it has showed at times. Every team deals with it... can't be used as an excuse, but you do have to acknowledge it.

Roster question

For you football gurus. I think I am remembering that someone posted on here that Clemson has fewer scholarship offensive linemen than UGA. Is that true? Is Clemson currently carrying the maximum number of scholarship players? TIA

Thanks for consoling us but we have fallen a long way from where we used to be in coaching and we don’t have the dudes we once had.
