Surely Biden will step aside after the convention. Only downside is then he'd be liable to criminal charges instead of just impeachment. But he could still get ice cream and Matlock in a cushy white-collar lockup, right? I don't know about little girls, tho.

So, the more evidence of his crimes floating around out there, the less likely he resigns, I guess.

They'll only keep Biden around as long as necessary to take all of the bullets for everything wrong with the country. Then they'll bring in Newsome on a white horse to pretend that someone with the same lousy ideas as Biden will somehow make things better. Also it'll be easier to manufacture 90 million votes for their "new and exciting" candidate without raising any eyebrows than it would be for Biden.

I don’t think that Biden will evacuate the WH after the convention. Instead, he will announce after the convention that he won’t be seeking re-election.

Doing it this way means that the Democrat party won’t have to elevate Kamala to the presidency.

Democrat party would be in a mess if Kamala became an incumbent president, even if for only a short period of time. Kamala will expect to be anointed as the Democrat candidate for POTUS when Nov. rolls around.

If Biden holds as POTUS until Jan. 2025, than Kamala would never have been president; this makes it less messy for Big Mike to be catapulted into the Democrat POTUS nominee spot during or shortly after the Democrat convention ends.

Big Mike is an easy win for the Democrats, as much as I hate to say it. Especially so in a very short campaign.
