Growing up in Tigertown, movies were 15 cents on the weekend unless it was 25 cents for a Disney movie. If the movie was rated MA, you had to have your parents with you, we'd try and sneak in.
When was the last time you saw a cartoon before or after a movie?

That Ford Coupe (49-‘51) could have been one I had in ‘58-‘59.

Those models would whistle when you put gas in them, the pitch increasing as the flow increased, but they would spit it back without warning. Took a few gasoline showers from them. Also remember their push button starters that kids today think is a novel idea.

the Clemson students could turn a horror flick into a comedy with all the catcalls, yells, jokes, etc.
Enjoyed each trip, as it was the only one in town.

Went there many times for Saturday specials for kids in the 60s.
Never worked there, but did work at the Flick Theater in the Mini-Mall back in the 70s. All now defunct.
