Clemson commits projected in MLB draft top-20
A dual-sport and a baseball-only Clemson commit are in the top tier of a new MLB draft projection. MLB.com is the latest mock draft to have Tigers 2021 quarterback commitment Bubba Chandler highly-valued on the baseball side, as a top-10 overall pick (No. 9 to the Los Angeles Angels). To the effects of the draft sure seems pointless . Wish we could get some of these guys to campus like vandy seems to but I get why we cannot.

Bubba ever playing college football for us. Hard to walk away from guaranteed millions unless you got another LEGITIMATE source of money coming in.

Typical we get commits but guys never step foot on campus. If we get all 3 heck yeah. Two ok not bad. One eh. None. We need endowment and common academic market.

I still hope he's not ready to enter the job market and values a college education, with traditional college life. Everyone says they'll get an e diploma but most never do...
Don't think the money will be a difference maker. Think it'll be more the lure of being historical. And that's hard to turn down. That instant fame... Lure of being the October surprise etc etc. If that makes sense. He probably has dozens of agents pumping him up that he's the next babe Ruth blah blah. He is good, no doubt. He's a special talent.

Money hard to turn down especially guaranteed. Had friend super fast arm like lighting bolt but also straight A’s and super smart. Top 5 round pick but he was going to go play college and told those interested he was going to college. Dropped down on draft, went to NC state(Clemson never recruited him hard don’t think) got injured his soph year. Out of game by junior year. Had another friend, went to app state, drafted after great career, flew down to team to sign, they found something in his physical and bam-cut him same day. I changed my mind years ago about college experience if high draft pick out of high school. I’d suggest taking money go for the dream and go get diploma later. Only 3 ways sports careers end. 1. You stink and no one wants you anymore 2. Injure 3. HOF Tough decisions for 18yr olds but take the money especially top 20 pick.

Bubba and Will owe Clemson nothing. Would love to have them but they should play MLB. They can always return to football if baseball doesn’t work out.
Meanwhile, get a serviceable back up from the transfer portal.
DJ is best QB in the US.
Helms can win in the ACC.
The coaches have a plan. I hope.
