Jamey was a fraternity brother of mine and one hell of a guy. National champion on the soccer field and student body President. So so sad, he will be missed..

So sad. He had it all. Just goes to show money and success doesn't buy happiness. Be kind to people.
You never know what people are going through.

10 years ago I went through depression and anxiety attacks. I had a plan for suicide and was within days of taking my life. God intervened and put me in the hospital before I could go through with my plan. While in the hospital a Dr recognized what I was going through. He saved my life by starting me on meds for both conditions.
There is a stigma associated with mental illness that makes people hide their symptoms and not tell their Drs. But if you were diagnosed with diabetes you would take insulin or if you were diagnosed with cancer you would take chemo or radiation without thinking about what other people would think.
There is no difference between mental illness and physical illness. Mental illness mostly is a lack of the correct chemicals in your brain. In both illnesses if you get the correct meds you have a really good chance of getting better.
If you are struggling with mental illness, please tell your Dr. I am alive today and enjoying every day of my life because I got the treatment that I needed. Two little pills a day gave me my life back.
Please get the help you need, you would not hide the fact that you had a blockage in your heart. You would get the treatment you needed, do the same with mental illness.
