Championship season got me thinking about @RevDodd and his on the spot sermons as we climbed the mountain over the years. If there's ever a Tnet Hall of Fame, I would nominate Rev. So I reached out to see how he's doing. His response:
The team's on-going success and (to me) proper spiritual and moral guidance has allowed me to focus more on lifting the spirits of folks who (like me) have been given more immediate health challenges... like my old mentor Happycat said, "We all have a time to shine and a time to enjoy the embers of the barley lamp."
With continuing chemo, the cancer is in remission. Health is level, though re-learning to walk has been interesting. But I've met a lot of folks in much worse shape with less hope who keep plodding, so who am I to complain?

I too have never met him but it seems like I have known him for a long time. We miss him on T-net but as he said, he has other challenges. Prayers to you Rev. and I hope you will get rid of that disease for good.

Thanks for posting this.He is a good man and have enjoyed talking with him in person on many occasions. Really have been wondering where RevDodd has been the last 2 years as it seems longer than that.Hope he continues to get better and someday real soon will be back on Tigernet spreading the good work about Clemson.
