And his response to the devastating wild fires in Hawaii. Those $700 checks per household is the life line they needed. Really makes you wonder who is advising him and said that sounds like a great idea.

Think again
Since the war began, the Biden administration and the U.S. Congress have directed more than $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine, which includes humanitarian, financial, and military support, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, a German research institute.

economy has ZERO effect on dollar inflation in the USA or throughout the world! Printing those billions of dollars are just fine as long as they go over there. After all...inflation only happens for dollars printed to spend on actual American citizens in America. Duh...thats simple Econ 101!

I will tell you this...

I would vote for Trump over Biden because he was significantly better at running the country.
Biden took a robust energy-independent economy and ran it into the ground in less than two years, and was entirely unapologetic for it. I won't even get into his gross mishandling of the southern border crisis that remains largely unabated.
That said, what this county needs is a leader who can unite and cement us as a nation. Neither Biden nor Trump can do that, and therein lies the biggest concern. Biden is lying POS and Trump is a deliberately condescending polarizing a$$ who is disliked by half the country.

How were we "energy independent" under Trump versus now. Do you have any empirical data to back this up?.

Imports of petroleum (which includes crude oil, refined petroleum products, and other liquids) decreased in 2020, the last year of Trump’s presidential term: 7.863 million barrels per day imported versus 10.055 million barrels per day imported in 2016, former president Barack Obama’s last year, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
That year the United States became a “net exporter” - exporting more of a commodity than what it imports of petroleum for the first time since 1949.

Last month, we imported 200M barrels of oil. In July 2019, before Covid, we imported 221M barrels of oil. In the month of July 2020, during Covid, our imports were 188M barrels. It seems some goal posts need to be moved to back up this "energy independence " narrative.
We're talking Biden vs Trump, and you're quoting numbers from Trumps final year (covid) vs. Obama's last year. You conveniently left out imports from 2017-2019 as well as leaving out imports under Biden.
BTW, if reducing oil imports is such a big deal, then why do MAGAts demand we commence construction on the XL pipeline?

Independence has been a component of energy policy for every administration since George W. Bush. Subsequent policy initiatives, such as the lifted ban on oil exports under Obama, and Executive Order 13783 which eased the process of leasing federal lands to oil and natural gas companies under Trump demonstrate a continued interest in achieving some form of energy independence. Joe Biden has also undertaken efforts to reduce the country’s dependence on energy imports. However, he has done so by releasing millions and millions of barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as opposed to continuing to produce what we need at home. Therein lies the difference and another poor decision by the Biden administration geared more at garnering votes than what is in the best interest of the American people. Instead of tapping the reserves, the U.S. should allow projects such as the Keystone XL pipeline to continue. It was officially canceled after Biden revoked a key permit. Our ability to produce 13 million barrels a day of oil shapes the marketplace. It’s important that we return to that approach rather than using a national asset like the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in a weak and desperate attempt to affect pricing.

That would mean we don’t import anything, and we can run our whole economy on our own oil. Seems like you and Trump are both lying.

Biden says enjoy the unsecure southern border, rampant crime, 18% inflation, those 8% mortgage rates, no market returns in two years, and $4.00 a gallon gas.
I stand corrected...things are just great!!!

elections haven't existed in the USA for around 60 years, at least presidental elections.
Unfortunately for those in Hawaii affected no real help will be given, how do i know this? do a simple search on the kentucky town destroyed years ago, or check up on all the help the residents of rolling fork mississippi are getting 5 months later, what about the town in ohio, or paradise california. yeah you will get the hint all of this natural or should i say unatural disasters will not be receiving assistance. but you can find 250k unused fema trailors rotting away in Arkansas from 2004.
By the way we need another 5 billion for people in need in a foreign country, you dont mind right?
