Congrats to Clemson From A Cuse Fan

I thought we'd somehow win by 4 today...wrong.
Our shots were not there...great defense by Hall on Cooney.
We only had Christmas playing well today and that isn't going to cut it.
You guys have 5 winnable games coming up...good luck.
Now tell me what I should order at Denny's tonight? Is the crow omelet good? I hope our fans today were well behaved at LJ...they certainly never had a lead to get all Coot like acting in there today.

Dude, it is in reference to the 5 next games up for you on the in game graphic. It wasn't a backhanded reference.

to the Cuse a year ago for our football game with info about your area, and we appreciated your efforts.
That we were able to claim a victory today against a renowned team like Syracuse was a huge win for us...one that few, if any, Tigers will regard lightly.

Thanks...
And I'm actually starting to embrace the Denny's Jokes as a start of a new tradition.
It is all good...you guys should be a NIT team at worst this year but maybe a NCAA team...enjoy the ride. Word is the NCAA will hand down a post season ban to us early next week. Actually a great season for it to happen...we expect to be loaded next year in hoops.

Thanks, Texas Mack. What did you think Blossomgame and Grantham? The future is bright for us too. Got some good PGs coming in too next year.

I loved Blossomgame's game...glad to see him play well after the injuries. Grantham looks good too he had a dagger 3 in the 2nd half...I think the NCAA is a long shot but if you finish with no more than 10-11 losses you could get a bid.

Thank you!
Your lack of depth from injuries is probably a reason.
Our rims are notoriously tight.
A very good win for us against a quality basketball heavyweight.
Thanks!

like you they commented on Hall's defense on Cooney...
couple folks did look a ittle shocked at the way the game went
kudos to the Orange fans for showing up in big numbers and making some occasional noise
i think there were more "Cuse fans in there yesterday than UNC folks on the 3rd

Me and my wife were surrounded by cuse fans....all were nice except this couple next to us....every time tiger rag played and Clemson was spelled out they would yell suk at the end....kept dropping f-bombs also and finally got up and left after a fellow cuse fan leaned over from behind them and whisper something to them...

will win a LOT MORE basketball games than you lose in this series as we continue to be conference brothers over the years. My dad lives at the beach and played golf the last two Saturdays as we had a road win at Pitt and this win over you guys. I'm going to tell him to play golf every single day and maybe we end up in the Final Four.

TexanMark: Appreciate your comments. To let you know, unfortunately many if not most SU fans didn't see it that way. The excuses for the loss were actually funny. Ranged from poor officiating to the ACC fixed the game so Clemson would win, etc. Fact is SU was outplayed on THAT DAY in all facets of the game. Personally, Mr. Bahime needs to call it quits. He is an arrogant, pompous little man with a really poor tude. There was absolutely no reason for him to have a snarky remark as a reply to a question about changing defenses. Yes, we all know he plays the zone D just like we all know he won a single national title in over 40 years of coaching and the reason that occurred was because he was able to spell Carmelo Anthony and write his name in the lineup! I'm appalled at his lack of sportsmanship when he could have simply stated that we got outplayed TODAY and congratulate whomever the opponent--in this case Clemson. The guy is a sore loser as are many of the team's fans. Clearly you are not one of them and applaud you for that. It's time for him to retire and turn the program over to someone younger who just might figure out that in today's basketball game, you really need to be able to play some man to man defense.

You could very well be an exception from the norm of a cuse fan but, the only way I can tell the difference from a cuse fan and a coot fan, is the coots are country dumb, and talk like it.
