It’s called knowing when to take a timely timeout during a slide and hit the reset button. Brownell never seems to figure this out. I was begging for a time out during the 5 minutes scoring drought and again at the end of the half with about 2:30 left. You could see the other team had all the momentum and just sits on-his hands and lets it happen.

Oh yeah, that’s right, it’s called running a half court offense. It’s called driving to the basket with your athletic big men and your guards so you can get the other team into foul trouble and score from the charity stripe because you’re one of the best free-throw shooting teams in the country.
Not sure why this surprises anyone. The inability to score for five or more minutes has happened in nearly every game for Brad Brownell for 13 seasons.
We’re paying a man $3 million to coach basketball when there are guys that wear business suits during the week while coaching kids on the weekends that have a better understanding of basketball fundamentals.
