Female Maryland fan in early 2000s. She was a drunk potty mouth that tried to start several fights. They finally came and got her and removed her from the stadium. I've had worse but not in Death Valley.

about 10 years ago me and my nephew (about 8 at the time) were there and a pack of 3 guys came up and charged at my nephew and yelled in his face, seriously less than 4 inches from him. I had no time to think about what I did, but after the first one hit the ground, the other two backed off.
I am still my nephews favorite uncle and I am pretty sure that is why.

As for an individual fan, it is a toss up between these. All Maryland fans and all at the same game.
1. The old man in the wheelchair who said something about my mother.
2. The fan urinating on a car with Clemson identifiers.
3. The fan who hit a 7-8 year old kid in the back with a full can of beer.
4. The three fans who tried to start a fight as we walked to our car.
5. The fans that rocked our car back and forth in full riot mode as we tried to get out of the parking lot.
There are no words strong enough, no temperature hot enough, no wrath furious enough to describe my unadulterated hatred for that university and its fan base.

I sat in the coot section with my coot dad and coot brother (I know, I know, it is the family shame). A man that I thought I knew from Aiken was there. Although I knew he was a coot, he was always very kind and reasonable, so I thought. The coots kicked our butts that day and this man was about as nasty as I've seen from any fan ever. I made up my mind right then and there: even if you think you know a nice coot, you have probably not seen him or her at a rivalry game.

Some UGA fans/animals in the stands above us spit on some of the band members in front of us as the Clemson contingent was leaving Sanford stadium. I would have beaten those guys to death with a tuba if I could have gotten to them.

In Columbia my wife and her sister got hit with a football from the stands in the head and also had a few beer bottles almost hit them in the stands. Also that same game her cousin went out to her car and found her Mercedes top had been cut. They had a clemson tag on the front.

because they saw me in my orange gear and knew they outnumbered me significantly. Even if it was even, I would't have done anything because I'm not a fighter unless I have to, but it was just really frustrating that you know they wouldn't act like that if they didn't have all their friends to back them up.

The single worst fan was a Nebraska guy at the 09 gator bowl. He sat right behind us. As soon as we sat down he started with, "here kitty kitty." From that point forward it was on like donkey kong. Me and my buddy argued with him till the bitter end. The rudest, most arrogant fowl mouthed jerk I've ever been around. The best part was right after he opened his mouth my buddy stood up and turned around and looked dead in his face and asked, "what the heck is a cornhusker anyway, how is that a mascot? Who in the world would be proud to have that representing their team? It looks stupid to me." I thought that guy was gonna explode with anger. We laughed at him till our sides hurt, which made him more ticked. The worst fan base in general from my experiences are GT fans, just don't like those people.

Some complete arsewhipe was sitting behind me and my friend and ran his stupid mouth for a little over 3 quarters, until we took control late.
It's the only time I really wanted to pop a guy at a game. I just about got into it when Robert Smith got hosed for targeting.

talking trash to not knowing what the #### they're talking about ratio of all our regular opponents. I live in Winston-Salem, those people are just clueless about anything sports related. I recently overheard at a restaurant a couple of Wake students try to name all the schools in the ACC. According to them, Vanderbilt is an ACC team and Georgia Tech is in the SEC.

I was on the cheerleading squad in the early 90's when we played at Georgia. We pulled up to Athens on a bus with Clemson on it. As we came to a stop in our parking space, there were a few Georgia fans tailgating. This old lady that looked like someone's great, great grandma had a Budweiser in one hand and was shooting us the bird with the other hand. We fell out of the bus laughing.

was sometime in the 80's when I was a kid. We were tailgating before the game there and noticed on of the Boodawg fans near us was trying to covertly take a leak behind the van they were tailgating out of. He had the low speed wobble going on and eventually had to grab hold of the back of the van to steady himself. About the time he finished his business he went to use both hands to zip up and he fell face first in his puddle.

I lived in NH and usually could only attend the Maryland games back then. Their fans were OK as long as they were losers, but when they won a few games, they became the worst ever. Cursing and throwing things at Clemson fans.
The closest I ever came to hitting one was just after Duke kicked that long FG to beat us up there about 10 years ago. A fraternity brat got in my face running his stupid mouth, and I was about 40 years his senior. When I drew back to smash is face, my brain kicked in gear and told me that ranny wasn't worth the trouble I was about to get into.
I came pretty close to hitting underfed looking Clemson fraternity brat this past season, and I am about 50 years older than him. He wanted to climb over several rows of people because he was too lazy to take the steps up to his seat. The guy next to me and the one behind told him no, and then he tried to push over me. He was obnoxious. For a couple of minutes, I wondered which one of us was going to hit him first. His girlfriend finally convinced him to take the proper route to his seat.
The next week the guy next to me told me to hold his arm if that guy came back. I said that I wasn't going to hold his arm because if he didn't hit the guy I probably would. We never saw him again.

LSU fan at the Hyatt in Atlanta , 2012. Guy was insufferable , and mean spirited. He told my girlfriends 8 year old son that " Orange colored Tigers are gay " .
I had to laugh the morning of checkout. His daughter (?) was flirting with a Clemson fan in the lobby.

Middle aged man. Game in Columbia. I was in end zone stands with most Clemson students. Gamecocks came out in garnet jerseys. Game time they changed to black jerseys and came out behind smoke screen. Chicken fans went wild. Deafening. Clemson hammered SC all game long. By end of 3rd quarter, Clemson end zone stands was full and rocking. 3/4 of stadium was empty. Clemson was up big. Game ended and SC fans streamed past Clemson cheerleaders in end zone. Crazy SC man pulled out knife and came at Clemson cheerleaders. Shortest Clemson male cheerleader, strong acrobatic dude, knocked knife out of his hand and headlocked him until police took the guy away.
If that SC fan wasn't the worst loser, he was up there.

Never actually encountered the bastage, but Trooper Del is the epitome of the most obnoxious fan that I have ever witnessed on message boards. I can't believe this was not unanimous - except CLEMSON fans probably never actually met him. Otherwise, he would have been less offensive years sooner.

At Georgia Tech in 2010, I think. I had a guy in his fifties attempting to pick a fight with me for the entire game. I think he couldn't stand that Clemson fans were in his section. I think by the end of the game, even his fellow GT fans were ashamed of him. One GT fan apologized for the guy before he even got there. If I hadn't been in the Army and scared my chain of command would fry me, I would have spent the night in jail that night.

It was actually quite comical looking back...
A group of friends bought tickets to Buckhead Ball well in advance for NYE (about $100 a pop), so we couldn't afford tix to the game once it was announced.
The party had two huge projector screens up and since the Clemson/LSU game was the only game on, it was playing. We proudly cheered as we came back to win in the final minute....but as soon as the game was over, hoards of randos came up chanting "SEC! SEC! SEC!" To which we simply replied, "1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, C-L-E-M-S-O-N...."
Really, guys, really? Needless to say, we drank our money's worth and repeated the Cadence Count throughout the night.

roach. I was sitting in coot territory with the rest of my family (All coots.) There was maybe one or two small groups of Tiger fans scattered around me. I watched a couple of rows down as a coot woman of maybe 45 years knocked the hat off of a tiger fan and pushed his wife in the back. As the tiger fans turned around to fuss, the coot woman's husband/boyfriend/babydaddy tried to start a fight. There was some pushing and shoving. The tiger fan finally left and grabbed a cop and got the two booted. For the rest of the game, I kept hearing coots saying "I know we started it but you can't do that kind of stuff in our house." (referring to defending himself and wife and reporting to the police.) This was the last time that I ever stepped foot into the cockroach.

USUC grad I use to work for. Still owes me $100.00 on a hand shake bet from 1997 Clemson-usuc game. Clemson kicked their butt. Course he owes me millions more because he is out of business unless I clean up his mess of a business. I own about 100 miles of shelf space around this country in lumberyards/contractor yards/Home Depot/Lowes from work I did for him and he screwed me there as well.

This past fall on a cruise. Met the most annoying coot ever. Wanted to bet me $15,000 on the coot game. Talked the most junk of any coot I've ever encountered and that says a lot. Gave me a name but must be fake because I can't find him on Facebook like he said. Said his name was Brian Webb.
I'd love to have a conversation with that ####### now.
