Wonder who starts at Safety now?

Jan 7, 2018, 9:38 PM

I would guess Wallace and Simmons with Muse playing a good bit. Idk who gets on the 2 deep behind Wallace. Johnson or the freshman Kyler coming in. Who else do we have that could really play? I don't think Turner will play many meaningful snaps.

Simmons & Muse are athletes

Coach 'em up and play ball.

I think Wallace is one of the best safetys I have ever seen from a natural ability to play the position. Much better than Muse though I like Muse playing he should be in for more running teams.

yeah, Wallace is a starter next year, Muse and Simmons will

Muse put on 15# and go to Mike. Hold the weight and work as safety. Guy loves to hit. Just want them to wrap up and wait for the calvary.

I don't want to start something that I have no idea about. But all this talk about the starting QB is making me wonder if KB2 could be a great corner or safety.

I am sure he could play safety but idk if he would tackle well or not. He looks just fine at QB to me. That was his first year starting. Hopefully he learned some things and improves this off-season and has a great year.

your not starting anything.. but remember when T Boyd and company won 10 games and we were so happy.. this guy won 12.......... and really only lost to Alabama.. don't wish away the wins, they will not always be there for us .

Please don’t compare those teams with this team. Our defense wasn’t nearly as good and we had no O-line.

Boyd also had Nuk and Sammy.

Kelly Bryant ... He'll play both ways ...

Well I bet even if he leads us to a Natty next year people will say the team carried him lol.

I do believe it was KB, but most of his completions were simple quick outs to a pre-determined receiver. His longest completion probably was to Feaster in the flat that he scored on against VA Tec. Yes we managed to win with his limitations and I appreciate his effort, but face the facts he could not make defenses respect the deep routes. On defense Bammer was able to control the line of scrimmage with six guys and they smothered the short routes and the one chance we had on a fairly deep route with Higgens the ball was under thrown.

My guess is Wallace and Muse man the safety spots

Jan 8, 2018, 10:18 AM

while Simmons moves down to O'Daniel's role.
