any chance GameDay would move the stage down to the newly created spot on Bowman? You would be in front of Sikes and facing the front of Tillman. I think it could be a nice view.

Does Clemson make this decision, or have any input, or doe ESPN make it alone? I thought I heard FSU created a spot specifically for the stage during one of their stadium remodels.

I used to work as the operations manager for Tillman/Bowman and surrounding areas. The original spot for Gameday would most likely still be the ideal location. ESPN prefers to have Tillman, Sikes, and the hill leading up to Tillman with the Tiger Paw painted on it as the background when showing the crowd shots. Gameday also brings 6-8 tractor trailers that fit perfectly in the space between the stage and the intersection of 93 and College Ave. This makes setup and tear down extremely convenient and Gameday staff loves being able to keep the trucks on site. Also, data and phone hookups are located in this area of Bowman.
