It was supposed to start at 9 but here we are almost 11 and it’s still the first inning.

a timer clock like football but the have had slow time between pitches, lots of runs, and pitching changes. Why you need to mess around and take an hour plus between games is another matter. the schedule has 4 games each in the early days. now today we have only 2 and tomorrow they have another 2 tomorrow but those are for the same round. Very odd schedule.

They ought to be concerned about the lack of fans showing up for any of them. Crowds are minimal but everyone gets a foul ball or home run I guess

Because the other games before it ran longer or were delayed. They also need at least 45 to an hour between games to prepare the field which doesn't help matters.

College baseball needs to trim an inning or two IMO. The games are too long. They need a faster pace.

It doesn't take long to look at the scoreboard from yesterday to realize the first game was a 14-12 game that took over 4 hours and threw the schedule off. This is not Rec league and it takes time between games.

The tournament should not have been expanded, rather reduced to 8 teams in this format. The other 8 teams have the entire conference season to prove they are good enough to participate. It’s like they expect a cinderella 15 seed to advance to the semis every year to create a feel good story. The reality is they are losing money playing 8 ball games in front of an absolutely empty ballpark. It’s bad optics for tv, and these games just illustrate how bad the pitching depth is in D1 college baseball.

Cal and BC are two of the 3 worst teams in the conference and have both won twice (two upsets.) The lower teams deserve a shot to play in my opinion.

SO YOU GONNA BLAME THE ACC BECAUSE GAMES ARE LASTING LONGER THAN NORMAL. THEY START AT 9:00 A.M. THERE IS A 4 HOUR WINDOW BETWEEN EACH GAME. WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THE ACC DO. HEY LETS JUST STOP THE GAME AT A CERTAIN TIME LIMIT. DO YOU PEOPLE EVEN THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE. OBVIOUSLY NOT.
