Who is better, FSU or ND?

The two best teams we have faced. I would say that with the major exception of the QB position (and of course that's huge), FSU is better by far. Talent all over the field. Their #8 on D is like our #2 - can back up the talk. The scary thing is they are all young. Our guys will battle their guys for the foreseeable future.

This is the perfect illustration of how all of this ESPiN beauty contest is a complete farse. Example, prior to this weeks games Bama loses to Ol Miss and is #4. FSU loses to the Bees and #16? Do we really know that Ol Miss is that much better than GA Tech? Bama got big props for beating a great A&M team. Now it looks like TAMU is garbage. I'm not sure LSU is much better than NC State. They struggled with Syracuse?!
It's easy to see this playoff deal at the very least needs to be 8 teams with power 5 conference champs in and the the next 3 highest ranked teams. I honestly am not sure we don't need it to be 12 or 16 teams, but the downside there would be ESPiN lobbying for 5 SEC teams.

If FSU had a better qb, they would take both sides. That FSU defense was the fastest group of people I've seen live. All the gains Clemson had on them took time, wrinkles, and multi-directional running.
Yet Clemson is better than both!
Yesterday was a game to remember and tell you grandkids.

It would be a big help if the cluckers beat Florida next week, the Gators are the hole card in getting an SEC team in the 4 team playoff. Alabama will not beat MSU and Auburn both, LSU is not through losing, so having Florida in the top 8 or so, they could jump into the top 4 by beating Alabama, and Alabama would beat another top 10 team to put on their resume....I seriously hope that the SEC is not represented in the playoffs, to expose the myth that the SEC is THE football conference...it is nice not to have to listen to those clowns
