since Clemson is now officially out of the tournament? I’m leaning towards Louisville, Wake Forest and Coastal Carolina. We won our series vs Wake and Louisville this season so them winning it all would be like us winning right? The only reason I’m kinda rooting for Coastal is because they are a SC team and I always root for any team in my state as long as it’s not the coots. Tho it does suck that we didn’t beat Coastal Carolina once this season.

You know what. I actually forgot about Duke. Out of all the Nc teams in our conference Duke is the one I least hate. Just because of an incident that happened a while back where we were visiting my cousins up in NC and my little sister busted her head open on a corner of a desk. ( She was I think around 5 years old around that time.) So we had to rush her to the nearest hospital which was the Duke hospital. They treated us nicely and patched her up. She ended up being ok and luckily there wasn’t any long term effects that she is suffering because of that injury. She does still have a scar tho but I’ll take a harmless scar over brain damage any day of the week. So because of that incident I don’t really hate Duke and wouldn’t mind them winning any games as long it’s not against Clemson. So I guess I will casually cheer for Duke as well as the other 3 teams I’m cheering for. And hey we did manage to beat Duke once so if they win then that’s a win for us right? Lol.

Thank you and yes, my wife got great care at dook and is doing very well.
To answer your question I am a UNC grad (Tar) and a Gardner Webb grad (dawg). No Georgia for me. I grew up in NC and all of my family still live there. I have lived about 12 miles from Clemson for 37 years. I also grew up attending Clemson baseball camp each summer when Bill Wilhelm was coach. Great camps! I would love to have played for Clemson but I’ll be honest, I was not quite good enough. So, I played at Gardner Webb and then went to UNC as a baseball grad assistant coach. I follow Clemson sports because of my childhood history and where I now live. Of course when Clemson plays UNC I’m pulling for the Heels. But I’m just not one of those crazy sports fans who can’t talk to other fan bases and respect other programs.
I’ll tell you a funny story. My mother has been in the hospital until today. She’s 92. Yesterday she looked at her hospital bracelet and asked me “why does this say Duke?” I said “you’re at Duke Health Lake Norman is that ok?” She grinned and said “yeah but I’d rather be at Carolina”.
