I'd say you are going to see more vertical video than less in the future. Rise of mobile video consumption is driving it. Fact is, people are too lazy to turn their phone's sideways even when viewing. Snapchat's vertical video format is a prime example.

It's not optimal, but at the very least let's hope YouTube will eventually add a vertical formatted player to account for the vertical shots.

You watched this on your tv?

If they turned it sideways all you would have had was a bunch of grass and 2 small specs to get both of them in the frame.

I wonder who is filming and giving the critique?

Jul 17, 2015, 9:40 AM

Maybe I'm wrong about this or just misunderstood coaches regarding how a QB should grip the laces, but Bryant is gripping the ball too far back. He barely touches the laces. The complaint I've always heard is that in cold or wet conditions, gripping the 'cone' part of the ball causes the ball to slip out of your hand easily.

I am not a coach - this is just a complaint that I've heard from other coaches about how a QB should grip a fb.

He's a great QB, so I'm sure I'm looking at it wrong. His throws look good to me, so I dunno.

Thoughts?
