Any of them ever made the second round of 32, the Sweet Sixteen? It's probably pretty hard to do.

I remember early in Brad's tenure, we won a First Four game on a late Tuesday night in Florida, then had to play the first round game at noon on Thursday in Pennsylvania. The players obviously looked tired and lost.

I know VCU went to the final four one year and I'm pretty sure UCLA did as well from the first four

yes, VCU and UCLA went all the way to the Final Four but those are 11 seeds, not 16 seeds. lol.

A number of 11 seeds in First Four have advanced to the 2nd round, an sweet sixteen also.

Yes, VCU & UCLA both went to the Final Four after being in one of the "First Four" games. VCU was about 10 or 15 years ago, but UCLA was more recent, maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Syracuse and Tennessee both went to the Sweet 16 after being in the first 4. I don't think anyone else has made it past the 2nd round, and most lost the next game.

In Dayton then went to Tampa a day and a half later to play against WVU.

Yeah, they chaged that rule after that. Had to have couple days turn around. Another Clemson sacrifice in basketball...
