We have problems at WR

Tyler Grisham cant evaluate talent like Jeff Scott.
It is time to move on and get J/S back so we can get BIG, Fast, and Mean WRs who can get down the field and create separation.
Rileys offense will remain stagnant until something happens at the WR coaching position.
That is All.

He is not the answer unfortunately. Good WR but doesn’t have that beast mentality.

If you name the great wrs of Clemson….
Antonio, Beaux, and the few on the team right now will not be a part of the top 10.
The likes of Nuke, Higgins, Williams, Bryant, Watkins, Renfrow, Ross start the list.

I agree our WR room is not in a good place, but to expect to have a receiver in the top ten list every year is asinine.

Is it Riley's offense? Really? Dabo stated Riley was coming in to run Clmeson's offense. I think Riley's offense needs a chance. LMAO.

I think he needs a chance too! Like allow him to clean house and hire position coaches he sees fit that may or may not be there now or currently or in any past system we have had. Until that happens he is no more OC than Biden is POTUS

Yes, Jeff Scott's elite talent evaluation that left us with the likes of Ngata, Ladson, EJ Williams, Dacari Collins, Ajou Ajou, and Brannon Spector on his way out. Jeff started the WR problems, he's not the solution.
Jeff Scott is not the solution. There's a reason he only won 4 games in 3 years at South Florida. He's just a return to the brain drain.

Maybe but I am pretty sure Grisham was in the mix to scout that.

The two best WRs on the roster are Grisham's guys. Every would be upperclassman - the JR and SR leaders that would be holdovers from Jeff's last class - completely washed out. Our WR situation is so dire because Jeff whiffed so badly in the 2019 and 2020 classes.
We need new blood at WR coach. We should have hired Marquis Hagans when UVA didn't retain him. Jeff's WR philosophy isn't how it happens anymore. If you look at all best WRs on the planet - Justin Jefferson, Jamarr Chase, Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, Cooper Kupp, etc... They're not the 6'4 jump ball guys Jeff fell in love with. they're the mid sized guys (5'11-6'1ish) with extremely fluid hips that can create separation with route running. Jeff abandoned that archetype after Rodgers and it completely screwed the team. He needs to stay far away from the WRs unless you want to fall further down the hill.

The average time a QB should have in the box is no more than 3.5-6 seconds to throw the ball. Im sure Cade had plenty of time today

Heck, some of our best plays were when Cade got flushed out of the pocket and ran for sizeable yardage.

Lol. Ya'll have the worst takes. Jeff Scott literally left the program with all the guys who couldnt play and transferd out. Ngata, Ajou, EJ Williams, Decari Collins, Spector, etc, etc, etc.
Grish has actually brought in a few guys and has 2 in 2024 class that look like studs. Ya'll fie Grisham and those guys will decommit.

You do know Dabo had to get involved with the scouting in order to offer these guys. He also had to work them to get them to commit.

He actually can't. No one wants a guy who went 4-26 as a head coach and has never been a playcaller.
