Of those two teams, Mich and 10aC, 10aC is the only one that has played a ranked team, but Florida and LSU gets the SEC complement ranking given to SEC teams!!! So the only way to tell which is the best team, they have to play each other....

I agree with Connelly's assessment. Especially the one of not being elite in any area. We're not there yet. We're not consistent enough to qualify as an elite team. Offense still needs work and hopefully we'll find out how good our D can be once everyone is healthy.

I’ll pinch hit……Tenn is elite in the way that they didn’t lose to PITT in overtime. It’s super important to remember that the ACC is weak and when your Elite SEC team beats one of those weak ACC teams in overtime, that’s how you know that you’re elite.
On the other hand, if your weak ACC team, beats another weak ACC team in overtime, that’s how you know that you’re weak.
I think I’m a shoe-in for that sweet ESECPN gig.

... we have been learning, correcting, and improving each and every week. We have two new coordinators that are finding their way and becoming more comfortable and better in their play calling. Dabo is pushing the right buttons and our players and coaches will continue to evolve and their quality to improve each week. The game is slowing down for them.
By the time the playoffs get here, we WILL be at an ELITE level on Offense, Defense, Special Teams, and more importantly ... in our mindset and confidence.

I think that the best is yet to come from Clemson. The running game hasn’t come close to being good...yet. I think that it will continue to improve and Shipley will put up bigger numbers down the stretch. Without question the OL will get better with each game. Our Tigers may not gel until the ND game but they are good enough to win these early games ..as they have done. Dabo has this,

We’re def not elite. But neither is Tennessee or Meesh-again… the question would be which one of those could we beat right now. I’d say it’s 50/50. Who knows. But I think we all agree we are not ready for Bama, UGA or OSU. Not today. Maybe by playoff time. But TN and UM can also improve by then. Let’s just keep winning.

I guess Bama is elite with that huge BLOWOUT win against TAMU and GA is elite with an amazing thrashing of Mizzou. Michigan is elite bc they aren't in the ACC and UT is elite bc they have been so good for so many yrs str8 they don't need a quality win. ACC is just pathetic with only 4 top 20 teams and Clemson hasn't played a soul...if Clemson had already beat a top 10 or top 15 team or both these outlets would definitely recognize the Tigers as great surely...I think it's important to mention last season every time Clemson is being discussed bc these other teams all went Undefeated last season. I'm surprised they didn't mention how pathetic we are against the run..I'm sure we are outgunned in every phase but we are giving up double digit rush yards a game and that's definitely not elite. Maybe the ACC should play on Thursdays with the rest of the JV high-school teams. These idiots are dreaming...keep pouring that gasoline fellas we want all that smoke!! Go Tigers!!!!!

Their assessment is better then most of Tnet, most of Tnet says we suck and shouldn’t be in the top 25. They love Bama, Georgia, and OSU because they are the greatest teams ever elite at every level, probably stay up at night dreaming of Clemson being in the same realm as those big guys
