Yeah, probably pretty close to Napier... Maybe waiting to see who LSU hires. I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to come here in big bro shadow. Always being compared.
On the flip side, he knows he can be a top pick if he comes here. I'm praying he makes the right decision. Would be quite the group. Got to be loving what he's seeing from our offense lately.

Good point. Our progress in the running game might be a game changer. And Jordan McFadden winning ACC lineman of the week doesn't hurt.

I think it will come down to RB depth. Bowman listed as R-Freshman, so still has 3 years. Really don't recall hearing much about his PT down there.

I see your point, and I don't disagree that the "Legacy" might be a reason to look elsewhere, but the "Big Brother" records could be broken, and what a family legacy that would be were him to be the one to do it. That's the sales pitch I'd use, were I the Clemson coach recruiting him. Also, I definitely would emphasize the academic achievement of leaving Clemson with a degree. I'd bet that still is very important to the Etienne family and, hopefully, to this fine young man.

Hoping that makes a difference to him. It should, and I expect his brother and his parents are pointing out the positives of the Clemson experience, as well as the positive influence of Dabo and our coaching staff. He comes from a family that values that. He still may want to go somewhere he is not Travis' brother, but hopefully he's got his sights on breaking his records as a player at Clemson.

Hopefully he and Mama remember all of the hate that was spewed towards the family from the Geaux Tigers folks. There was a lot of videos being directed towards them after he showed he could play and LSU was in the middle of the pack.

I figured Bama & Georgia were too RB heavy to remain in running. LSU from what I could tell have 5 scholly RBs who are all underclassmen. Florida has 5, on pace to have 6 w/ current commit from another RB. We have biggest need w/ only 3 scholly RBs, which also means probably biggest opportunity to come in & do something right away, even if its start out as a return man & work his way up food chain to getting reps in the offense.
He's already familiar w/ Clemson, the program, & the culture thanks to Travis, which I think bodes well in that regard. We're also pretty stable right now as a program & staff, whereas LSu & Florida are gonna be breaking in new coaches, staff, scheme, & all the other stuff that comes along w/ coaching changes, which would be another plus in our book. If he's more about wanting to be his own person, then that would favor Florida & LSU. But for now, ??????
